It was such a stress free experience having 'On the Move' shift our household pack from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. The removalists were very professional in every manner including their appearance. An Easy Move. I would like to thank you and the very efficient staff that moved our furniture and personal effects two months ago. From start to finish it went so smoothly. Each man had his area of expertise, and got on with the task in a calm and capable manner. It was clear the staff was well trained, and came prepared with plenty materials to wrap, box, and shift. No damage done, nothing broken. Everything was unwrapped and placed where instructed. I must commend the polite and cheerful attitude of the group of men. All day they were good humored and willing . I speak as someone who has moved home over 30 times . I can honestly say that this was a happy experience . By the time the crew left I felt “At Home”. Well settled,... and all the cartons gone. Most certainly I recommend the firm, On The Move. One couldn’t do better.
We can definitely recommend On The Move to our friends. As seasoned expats and having moved internationally 7 times in 10 years alone, have to say we were very impressed with the end to end service offered by On The Move. The initial consultation was detailed and a quote sent out within hours. The actual removal team were led by an excellent and responsible supervisor who remained active throughout. The team worked speedily and with great care and the contents of a 5 bed villa was packed, moved and unpacked all in 2 days....with no damages, breakages and minimal fuss. I would like to thank On the Move for the excellent service I have received in relocating my furniture and household goods from Dubai, UAE to Muscat, Oman. The door to door service was very efficient and professional with all my possessions being handled with extreme care. Furthermore, On the Move had to store my furniture and goods for a period 4 months due to my delayed arrival in Muscat and on receipt there was no damage and everything was in good order.
We have been in our new house now for 2 weeks and I love it. The whole move was hassle free, I couldn't have asked for anything easier. On the move provided the utmost professional service when my family and I had to move our processions back to the UK it was an emotional time for all of us leaving friends and colleagues. “When we moved from Dubai back to New Zealand we selected “On The Move” to ship our furniture. Not only did they deliver what they promised, they went above and beyond to ensure that our goods were despatched on time and arrived in good condition. When my husband’s company was slow to pay the account, we were faced with the likelihood that the shipping and the end delivery would be delayed. Jo (our consultant from ‘On the Move’) came up with options to keep the ball rolling and which enabled us to get our goods to the boat on time. Our goods were picked up on the 21st December and arrived at our new house on 5th February. The supervisor of the company in New Zealand which we used to deliver, unpack and install our goods was extremely impressed with not only the quality of the packing but also how well stacked the container was. He had received inwards goods from Dubai before and that this was the best packed he had seen. He also said that the skills of the Dubai packers was displayed in how well they packed the furniture in corrugated cardboard – which is apparently a difficult skill to master. At all stages, from quote, packing, pickup, despatch and delivery, On the Move treated us respectfully and worked diligently and professionally to make the process of moving simple. If you want to move with confidence, I would recommend that you use ‘On The Move’.

‘On The Move', definitely went that 'extra mile', when assisting me in Dubai. Collecting my shipment on a Friday (the weekend in the Middle East). No other removal company in Dubai would offer this service. The shipment charges were excellent value for money. All paperwork/charges were fully explained. I was promptly informed when my shipment had arrived in the U.K. My items were securely boxed, the delivery men telephoned me several times prior to delivery, to inform me of their estimated arrival time. The delivery men arrived promptly, were polite and professional. They placed a protective cover over the interior carpets, prior to entering my property. They stacked the boxes in a neat, safe, way.
